Nickel Chrome Test Panels are used for evaluating penetrant sensitivity utilizing fine cracks of controlled width of 10 microns on matched pairs of chrome plated panels. These twin panels are manufactured as one panel, chrome plated and cracked. The panel is then carefully cut into two halves, which give identical crack patterns to enable an equal comparison to be made.
