Ultrasonic

Ultrasonic inspection is a nondestructive testing technique used for surface and subsurface flaw detection as well as material thickness testing.  Using pulse/echo, a transducer sends waves of high frequency sound directed through an object and recorded when it bounces back to the transducer.  The size of the signal waves, as seen on an electronic screen, can indicate internal flaws or thickness of material.

TED carries a huge inventory of Ultrasonic materials, accessories and equipment.  Our Customer Care Center and knowledgeable sales staff can help you with your decision making process and may be able to offer demonstrations on ultrasonic NDT tools and products before you buy.
