This Ultrasonic Digital Thickness Measurement course will prepare the student to perform numerical display digital thickness measurements of various components, structures, and materials. This course provides in depth study of principles and theory, equipment and materials, transducer operation and theory, techniques and calibrations, variables affecting test results, and procedures and specification applications.
This course consists of instructor led lectures, lesson quizzes, flashcard reviews, various video demonstrations, and a final exam.
This 8-hour course exceeds the instruction outline and criteria specified in the ASNT Recommended Practice SNT-TC-1A, ANSI/ASNT CP-189, and ASNT Standard Topical Outlines for Qualification of Nondestructive Testing Personnel (ANSI/ASNT CP-105).
