This course explains advanced theory, application, and variables that affect the alternating current, coil impedance, and depth of penetration. Other subjects pertaining to Eddy Current Testing are selection of test frequency, applications, impedance and phase analysis testing systems.
This 40-hour course exceeds the instruction outline and criteria specified in the ASNT Recommended Practice SNT-TC-1A, ANSI/ASNT CP-189, NAS410 and ASNT Standard Topical Outlines for Qualification of Nondestructive Testing Personnel (ANSI/ASNT CP-105).
