This course includes a basic introduction to the theory and principles of Eddy Current Testing. It contains study materials related to Remote Field, Alternating Current Field Measurement and Magnetic Flux Leakage. The student will learn to understand the equipment and theory used in these applications. Eddy Current is used in aerospace, heat exchanger, weld inspections and many other applications!
This 40-hour course exceeds the instruction outline and criteria specified in the ASNT Recommended Practice SNT-TC-1A, ANSI/ASNT CP-189, NAS410 and ASNT Standard Topical Outlines for Qualification of Nondestructive Testing Personnel (ANSI/ASNT CP-105).
