Base Oil HF is a high flash solvent designed for use as an oil suspending vehicle for both fluorescent and non-fluorescent magnetic particle bath suspension. Base Oil HF meets both DOD F-87935, AMS and Pratt & Whitney PMC-1887. Due to the low fluorescence and the relatively clear appearance properties of Base Oil HF, it can also be used to discover leaks with air pressurized value testing. Escaping air bubbles are readily visible without the use of additional fluid enhancements.
