FLATFOX-17 PORTABLE A-SI FLAT PANEL X-RAY INSPECTION SYSTEM
Vidisco Ltd., a leading provider of one-man portable X-ray systems for almost 20 years, offers a line of Amorphous Silicon (a-Si) Flat Panel portable X-ray Inspection Systems for industrial applications. The FlatFox -17 system features a large flat panel with an imaging area of 28.4 x 40.6 cm (12 “x 16”). The 12-14 bit dynamic range allows for the delineation of hairline cracks and production/wear imperfections. The 16,384 (14 bit) gray levels are optimized by Vidisco's unique Window leveling tool which allows the operator to select a "region of interest" and receive the optimal computer generated leveling for the area chosen. The FlatFox -17 system operates for over two hours on its rechargeable batteries and for an unlimited time when using an AC power source. The system can also operate using a vehicle DC inverter.
