SOUNDCLEAR COUPLANT

A cost-effective, general-purpose gel couplant suitable for many applications where optimal performance, broad temperature range and high couplant acoustic impedance are not critical.

Features

Viscosity CPS & pH*: 3 grades - 65,000 to 150,000. 7.8 pH
Temperature range: 27 to 175°F.
Characteristics: No drip or runoff, water soluble, iron corrosion inhibiter. Compatible with brass, copper, aluminum and titanium.

ULTRAGEL II COUPLANT

A stable, general-purpose gel that holds on vertical or overhead surfaces, providing optimum transmission for longitudinal and shearwave, thickness gaging and acoustic emission testing. Six sizes.

Features:

Viscosity CPS & pH: 40,000. 6.8 to 8.4 pH. Note 5
Temperature range: -10 to 325°F
Characteristics: Water soluble, rust and corrosion inhibited, quick oil/dirt wetting, ideal for iron, steel, aluminum and titanium. Silicon free.

SONOTRACE COUPLANT

Low Residue. For ultrasonic inspections in which residue and/or halogens, sulfur and lead must be minimized. 5 sizes.

Features:

Viscosity CPS & pH: 3 grades - 3,000 to 60,000. 6.8 to 8.4 pH.
Temperature range: 20 to 230°F
Characteristics: Water soluble, rust and corrosion inhibited, chlorine and sulfur-free germicide. No cellulose, petroleum's, glycerin or silicones.

Economically priced, general-purpose gel for longitudinal and shearwave flaw inspection and thickness gauging. Four sizes.

Temperature range: 20 to 220°F
Characteristics: Quick oil/dirt wetting, water soluble, rust/corrosion inhibited. Odorless/smokeless.
