Radiation Screens - Field Radiogaphy Supplies
X-RAY INTENSIFYING SCREENS, X-RAY WARNING BEACONS, X-RAY ON SIGNS
HEXALON
Hexalon lead alloy foil mounted on cardboard. Available in two thicknesses, .005" and .010" and in all popular sheet sizes 14" x 17" or smaller, or in economy bulk 17" wide, 50 lb. rolls for your own cutting. Used for reduction of scattered radiation, and image intensification. This is radiographic quality foil. (The Hexalon plastic protective front coating must be removed prior to using.)
1/32" RUBBER OR VINYL BACKED
Flexible lead x-ray intensifying screens backed with vinyl or 1/32" rubber for use on curved surfaces and irregular shapes.
PRIME SCREEN
Standard, all purpose x-ray intensifying screens, perfect for field use in the pipeline and petroleum industries. The untreated, plain lead surface has a protective plastic covering that is easy to remove. The peel-off plastic allows a clean surface that doesn't leave a sticky residue to interfere with radiographs.
TWEEN SCREEN
Tween Screen, double faced .002/.002 lead x-ray intensifying screens used with all double load film techniques. The Tween Screen is placed between the two films to yield intensification on inside surfaces of the films.
BRISTOL
Bristol cardboard backed screens are available in .020" and .030" thicknesses.

MAGNETIC HOLD-DOWN CLAMPS
Mity-Mag and Mini-Mag clamp holders are available with 50 lb. and 90 lb. holding force to attach any size film cassette to a magnetic steel surface. Slip resistant spring loaded rubber shoe maintains constant pressure on cassette in all positions: upside down, vertical, askew. Permanent Magnet contacts steel directly alongside the cassette; eliminates damage or pressure marks to the film. Highly resistant to demagnetization. Pocket size.
